Do you take pre-orders, catering, or custom orders?
Yes we can! Please email hello@butterandblue.ca for inquiries about larger or custom orders. We require at least 1 week notice for pre-orders, but if your request is large, we would appreciate more advance notice. We are open to orders for our regular baked goods and custom cakes.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?
It depends. Our kitchen is peanut free, and any items with nuts will be clearly labelled as such. We cannot accommodate celiac diets because of cross-contamination, but our famous matcha mochi cake is naturally gluten-free. We always have one vegan dessert option on the menu.

Can I work here?
We appreciate your enthusiasm but unless we are advertising for a job (follow us on Instagram for updates), we are not hiring.

Why is it called Butter & Blue?
The house was already this adorable butter yellow when we moved in, and we liked the colour combo. The house was also most recently a bed and breakfast (a B&B, gettit) before us.

Hi, I’m Natasia.

Is that a real cat?
Yes! Our cat mascot is my cat Pom, who sadly passed in 2024 at the ripe old age of 13 but will live on in all of our memories and on our tote bags and hats.
